A group of women and one man participated in the lunch celebrating Women, with the special participation of historian and writer Pietra Diwan, Wednesday, March 16, at the "Crazy About You" Restaurant.

The participants enjoyed the discussion of the theme presented by Pietra Diwan: Women in the modern world.

"It can be said that the image of "Brazilian women" abroad is very different from the one we have in Brazil, as it is in most cases, full of prejudice and misunderstanding. Brazilian women in foreign countries are often labeled as "sexy woman, single and available, and good samba's dancer". However, women like the soldier Maria Quiteria, the modernist painter Pagu and the new president Dilma Roussef show us a different perspective of Brazilian women: fighter, intelligent and politicized."
