DESCUBRA A LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA NO SUL DA FLÓRIDA

Quatorze representantes de programas de ensino da lingua portuguesa se reuniram no evento no Restaurante Piola, em Hallandale, com representantes dos principais jornais e web sites brasileiros, para divulgar os seus programas. O objetivo do CCBU ao organizar este encontro entre professores e jornalistas foi informar sobre o extraordinária crescimento das oportunidades de aprendizado desta lingua em todos os níveis do sistema escolar e universitário público e particular.
Fernanda Cirino, editora chefe do Gazeta Brazilian News aprovou a iniciativa: “o evento realizado ontem, foi de muita importância para nós e estou muito feliz em poder conhecer o trabalho desses professores e o nivel de instituições e escolas que estão envolvidas como nosso idioma. Para nós da imprensa, que publicamos os jornais em português, este trabalho de alfabetização e educação tem muita importância pois, as crianças e jovens de hoje serão nossos leitores do futuro.”

DISCOVER THE PORTUGUESE IN SOUTH FLORIDA
Fourteen representatives of  the Portuguese language instruction programs got together with journalists from the most important South Florida Brazilian newspapers and web sites, at the Piola Restaurant, Hallandale, to inform about their respective programs.
CCBU’s goal when organizing this event  between teachers and journalists was to inform about the extraordinary growth of Portuguese learning opportunities at all levels of the school and university public and private systems.
Fernanda Cirino, Gazeta Brazilian News’ Editor in Chief, approved the initiative: “yesterday’s event was of great importance for us and I am very happy to be able to know these teachers’ work and the level of the institutions and schools that are involved with our language. For us in the press, who publish the newspapers in Portuguese, this alfabetization and education work has great importance since today’s children and youngsters are our future readers”.
