The Centro Cultural Brasil-USA (Brazil-Cultural Center/CCBU) is a non-prfit 501.c.3, member based organization founded in 1997.

It's mission is to disseminate Brazilian culture and strengthen the ties between Florida and Brazil.

CCBU offers Portuguese language classes and Brazilian cultural events: music, dance, films, lectures.

CCBU is located at 300 Aragon Avenue, Suite 250. Coral Gables, FL 33134

MIAMI MIX: How Brazil Became Part of Miami
September 5-15

The Centro Cultural Brasil-USA da Florida (Brazil-USA Cultural Center of Florida/CCBU) will present, from September 5-15 at the Miami Center for Architecture & Design, in Downtown Miami, an exhibition about the Brazilian presence in architecture, urban design and urban arts in Miami, at the Miami Center for Architecture and Design, September 5 to 15, 2017 - "Miami Mix: How Brazil Became Part of Miami".

The goal of the exhibition is to raise awareness about how Brazilian architects and artists contributed to create iconic Miami landmarks, and how Brazilian music, tastes, language have become part of Miami’s cultural diversity.

Visitors will be able to see materials about the Burle Marx project for Biscayne Boulevard (partially built), the blue and white panel by Francisco Brennand installed on the Bacardi Building, the projects of Burle Marx for Oleta Park and Oscar Niemeyer’s designs for Claughton Island (Brickell Key).
